Minamoto no Masatada (源雅忠)

MINAMOTO no Masatada (1228 – September 3, 1272) was a court noble during the Kamakura period. Born into the Murakami Genji (Minamoto clan), he is sometimes mentioned as part of the Koga family and Nakanoin family. His father was Michiteru KOGA. His elder brothers were Michihira KOGA and Michitada KOGA. Masatada's daughter, Gofukakusain no Nijo was the author of 'Towazugatari' (The Confessions of Lady Nijo).

Masatada ultimately promoted to the rank of Shonii (Senior Second Rank)/ Dainagon (Chief Councilor of State).
